Astrotechne
What it is
A workspace for technical astrology
The product starts with chart work, then keeps the surrounding evidence, reports, timing, imports, and reference pages close enough to inspect.
Calculate natal, event, relationship, and timing charts, then keep reusable charts in a saved workspace.
Reports and timing
Generate Asteroid Report, Doctrine Report, and Timing Report without losing the chart context behind the work.
Imports
Move existing chart libraries into the product through AAF, CSV, and adjacent migration workflows.
Source-backed reference
Trace doctrines, objects, astrologers, source texts, and citation locations back to reviewed registry data.
Why it exists
Make the source trail visible
Astrotechne separates calculation facts, historical source context, and public interpretation copy so readers can see what is being cited, what is being paraphrased, and what has been reviewed for publication.
Source texts
A source text is a book, translation, article, or public-domain work that gives historical or technical context for an astrological claim.
Citation locations
A citation location is the page, chapter, section, table, or similar pointer that lets a reader check where a claim is grounded.
Paraphrases
Astrotechne usually presents source material in reviewed paraphrase so the public page explains the idea without reproducing long passages.
Reviewed publishing boundary
Only reviewed public wording is published. Private notes and copyrighted source extracts stay outside indexed reference pages.
Who is behind it
Made by Jove Spucchi & Opertus Systems
Astrotechne is operated by Opertus Systems and built by Jove Spucchi as practitioner software for calculation-first astrology work.
The working principle is that serious astrology software should keep calculation facts, technique context, source locators, and published interpretation separate enough to be reviewed. The product is still in beta, but the direction is stable: make chart work reusable, make reference context checkable, and keep private workspace data distinct from public source pages.
Where to start
Choose the next surface
Start with a chart when the work is private, use reference when the question is public source context, or read methodologies when you want to inspect the publishing boundary.
Open a chart
Use the chart workspace for saved charts, imports, reusable people records, and report generation. The live chart remains available for first-pass exploration.
Beta note
Keep your working copies
Live charts, reference pages, and calculation tools are the most stable areas today. Saved charts, reports, billing, imports, and account settings may still change during beta. Keep your own copy of anything you need before depending on it.
