Research
Keep charts, people, and reports together so a question can become a body of work you return to.
Astrotechne
Mission
Tools for practice, research, and learning
Astrotechne connects the chart you are looking at with the people, reports, and references that give your work context.
Practice
Prepare a reading with chart comparisons, selected asteroid themes, and a chronology of supported timing techniques.
Education
Study a technique on a real chart, then follow the available reasoning and source references.
A connected workflow
A workspace built around the chart
Inspect the chart
Cast a chart for a time and place. Compare chart banks, inspect placements and aspects, and switch between the wheel and Sky View.
Keep the context
Save charts with reusable people, places, life events, and notes in My Library. Review AAF or chart CSV imports before adding them to your collection.
Develop the reading
Explore asteroid contacts, traditional reasoning, or timing across a life with Asteroid, Doctrine, and Timing Reports. Keep the results in My Reports and download their PDFs.
Consult the reference
Look up techniques, objects, and astrologers in the public reference library. Follow available citations to bibliographic details and source notes.
Source-backed
Check the sources
Where sources are available, follow an interpretation to its rule, source text, and citation.
Where to start
Open a chart, then follow the evidence
Start with the free chart workspace and public examples. Create an account when you want to keep your own work.
Open a chart
Change the time and place, inspect the wheel, and explore Sky View without signing in. An account gives you a private library to save and organize your charts.
Study a public example
Open a reviewed public chart and explore existing reports before generating your own. Public viewing is free and uses none of your report allowance.
Follow a technique
Look up the doctrines and objects used in chart work, then consult their source notes. Use the methodologies guide to understand how citations and paraphrases are handled.
