wikipedia · The individual article identifies this mission as part of the Space Shuttle program.
SpacelabMission payload
wikipedia · Named mission hardware or payload; this records a mission association, not a separate timed deployment.
Ellen S. BakerPayload commander
ntrs.nasa.gov · The individually viewed mission-summary crew table explicitly identifies Ellen S. Baker as payload commander.
Shuttle–Mir programShuttle–Mir crew exchange
wikipedia · The individual mission article explicitly identifies this crew-exchange docking flight within the programme; it does not equate launch crew with return crew.

Reviewed individual mission infobox, actual crew, backup and support crew sections, named payload examples, NASA primary mission clock/site record and location coordinates. Actual flight, backup and ground support roles remain distinct. No orbital or lunar event is assigned an Earth anchor.
Mission-control shift rosters and the complete experiment-contributor network are not exhaustively covered. Source clock discrepancies are stated in the individual chart qualification.
Coverage describes the cited sections reviewed for this record.

Earth landing as recorded in the reviewed NASA clock source. The individually viewed as-flown NASA summary (printed 2-83, PDF101) distinguishes main-gear touchdown 188:14:54:35Z from wheel stop 188:14:55:28Z on July 7,1995. Wikipedia’s 14:55:28 UTC is the latter phase, whereas this chart explicitly uses main-gear touchdown. NASA’s webpage instead gives 14:54:34 UTC; the report’s repeated main-gear entry 35 seconds is adopted with the disagreement visible. For launch, the report gives 178:19:32:18.95Z and the webpage 19:32:19.044 UTC; the agreed 19:32 minute is retained conservatively. The original fractional UTC source is preserved. Actual seven-person ascent and eight-person return rosters remain distinct; no orbital docking is Earth-anchored.
